The following events will be hosted by the Three Rivers Festival primarily in downtown Fort Wayne today. Weeklong events with daily times that do not change are noted by an asterisk.

* 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Three Rivers T.R.A.I.N. Display. Special model railroad exhibit featuring an HO scale and fully operational freight yard; Regular museum admission applies ($5 adults, $3 students and seniors, and members or kids 5 and under free); History Center, 322 E. Berry St.

* 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Flower Power. Summer of Love Showcase. Botanical exhibit commemorating the 1960s peace and love with bright colors and patterns; $5 adults, $3 children, kids 2 and under free; Foellinger-Freimann Botanical Conservatory, 1100 S. Calhoun St.

* 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. – DeBrand Chocolate Tours. Behind-the-scenes tour through DeBrand’s chocolate-making kitchens; $5 per person with $5 rebate on $10 purchase after the tour; DeBrand Headquarters, 10105 Auburn Park Drive

* 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. – Junk Food Alley. Food vendors offering traditional festival favorites, including elephant ears, slow-cooked barbecue and fried cheese, and new festival dishes, including red velvet funnel cake; Prices vary; near Headwaters Park.

* 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. – Vera Bradley Festival Plaza. Presented by Meijer, park plaza providing meal seating, lunchtime live music provided by Brown Bag Tunes. There is regional and national entertainment after 6 p.m., with varied admission prices; Headwaters Park East, 333. S. Clinton St.

* 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. – Downtown Midway. Presented by Sensodyne, carnival featuring amusement rides, free displays, free hot-air balloon rides and fee-based attractions such as helicopter rides, laser tag, old-time photos, caricatures and face painting; Individual tickets or all-day wristbands can be bought for amusement rides; Headwaters Park East and West, 333 S. Clinton St.

Canceled – Hee Haw Days. Country-themed day including square dancing, corn hole, washers and ladder gold tournaments; $1 admission for each tournament, $3 lunch fee and $3 dancing fee; Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation Community Center, 233 W. Main St.

10 a.m. to 4 p.m. – IPFW Children’s Fest: Presented by PNC, kids day offering crafts, storytelling, magic, a costumed character parade, helicopter rides, animals, contests and tennis training courts; free admission; IPFW Main Campus, 2101 Coliseum Blvd. E.

Cobra R/C 3 Channel Mini Helicopter – Chinook | radio controlled ...

Any helicopter toy is just that. A toy. I have the hardest time to manage my expectations when it comes to toys. This Cobra RC Heli met my expectations ... look good and flew to my abilities. Having said that my flying skills could use some work. This helicopter - however - is quite on the verge of what it offers. A good product at a good price.

I was shocked with my first use of the Cobra Mini Heli. After rapid adjustment of the stabilizer to the controller, it flies and even the Strait. You can easily fly into the room or in specific locations, unlike most toy helicopters. There is a forward and back button to control movement, and there is a joystick to control rotation that works well. If you ever find that the copter seems to pitch forward or backward oddly on takeoff and wont stop, just hold the opposite direction on the controller or hold the copter firmly while powering it up or down, this seems to re align it if need be. As mention this toy has surprising quality and abilities, definitely a recommendation for yourself or as a gift.
