A short post, but I had to get something posted within a month of my last post! I tried to make these cookies for a party but they just didn’t seem to be turning out correctly, and I was pressed for time. But! Later when I had more time, I just kept sticking these back in the oven and watching them and tasting them, and they were good. You may have had similar cookies around Christmastime, under some Christmas-y name like “Noel Nut Cookies”. Ingredients
1 cup butter 1/2 cup powdered sugar (plus extra powdered sugar for rolling) 1/4 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 1/4 cup flour 1 cup chopped walnutsDirections

Bake at 350 degrees for 10-15 minutes. (Note: Mine took much longer, so just keep an eye on them in the oven – they should still be light in color (which makes it hard to tell when it’s ready) and the bottoms will be light golden.)
