The Wisconsin Farm Bureau Federation has hired two college students to serve as interns for its public relations division this summer.
Taylor Fritsch and Ann Larson will assist the group with its website updates, print publications and social media presence.
Fritsch is a sophomore at the University of Wisconsin-Madison where he majors in agricultural economics and journalism. He is a charter member of the UW-Madison Collegiate Farm Bureau. Taylor grew up on his family's dairy farm near Dodgeville, and served as the student manager of the Iowa-Grant High School FFA Greenhouse. He is currently a member of the Alpha Gamma Rho Fraternity.
Larson is a junior at the UW-Platteville where she majors in agricultural business with a minor in public relations. A former state officer of the Illinois Association of FFA, Larson grew up on her family's crop farm near Shabbona, IL. She is a member of Alpha Seta sorority and the Sigma Alpha's Professional Women in Agriculture.

On Saturday June 4th, members of the Oregon State University Chapter of Alpha Gamma Rho (AGR) took to the trails. However, instead of heading out to enjoy the great hiking trails of the McDonald-Dunn Forest, the members of AGR were helping to build them. Alpha Gamma Rho, a fraternity whose members are studying agriculture, forestry and natural resources, prides itself in giving back to the natural resource community and volunteering in ways that benefit awareness of our natural resources. Eleven of their members spent the morning and early afternoon rebuilding trails, specifically in Peavy Arboretum, in an area being developed to showcase different eco-zones found in Oregon.
