Local Navy Contract Awards

WASHINGTON (August 20, 2011)-The U.S. Department of Defense recently announced the following contract awards that pertain to local Navy activities.

BAE Systems Land & Armaments, Louisville, Kentucky, is assigned a mission statement $ 13,502,273 cost-plus-fixed-fee agreement already obtained the basic command (N00024-07-G-5438) for two MK 45 Mod 2 updates mounting gun. Technical education is to inspect and check the configuration of MK 45 Mod 2 / 4 compatibility kits gun.The Contractor shall provide equipment and services necessary for the overhaul and modernization of the gun mount for the MK 45 Mod 4 Baseline "E" configuration. Work will be performed in Louisville, Kentucky (80 percent) and Minneapolis, Minnesota (20 percent), and is expected to complete by September 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year. The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

BAE Systems Land & Armaments, Louisville, KY, Is given a mission order $ 6,755,696 cost-plus-fixed-fee to a previously awarded basic ordering agreement (N00024-07-G-5438) for equipment and services necessary for the inventory, check configuration, re-manufacturing and converting, do damage ammunition and upgrade, inspect, test and prepare for the shipment of components and major assemblies for mounting MK 45 weapon. Work will be performed in Louisville, Kentucky (80 percent) and Minneapolis, Minnesota (20 percent), and is expected to complete by February 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Indian Head, Maryland, is the contracting activity.

Harris Corp., Government Communications Systems Division in Melbourne, Fla., was awarded a $ 8,095,188 modification to a contract firm fixed price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity previously granted (N00019-10-D-0050) for full rate production and support of 125 digital map computers for the Navy (67), and the Governments of Kuwait (43), Malaysia (10) and Finland (five). In addition, this amendment provides for the purchase of 49 computers, digital video card to the U.S.Marine and 52 expansion enclosures to the Governments of Kuwait (43), and Malaysia (nine), to support multiple platforms aircraft. Work will be performed in Melbourne, Florida, and should be completed in June 2013. Contract funds will not expire at the end of the current fiscal year.

I tryed with resistor before but ecu would go in to limp mode, now i heard on slk board few people tryed with zeener diode but no real responce if it worked on 2002 m111 engines it was done mostly on pre 2002 m111. So the idea is to install zener diode and clamp signal voltage to me before it reaches some voltage( which i don't know) Because me opens bypass valve at 5000 to 6500 rpm and it will boost higher that 6 psi past 5000 rpm.
